The Greater Niagara Circle Route has over 140 km’s of bicycle paths to enjoy. The jewel of this route is the Niagara River Recreation Trail also known as the Niagara Parkway.
The Niagara Parkway
The Niagara Parkway is one of the most visually stunning routes in Canada. A route Winston Churchill once called “the prettiest Sunday drive”. It is filled with historic landmarks, popular Niagara attractions and natural beauty. The Niagara River Recreation Trail runs alongside the Niagara River extending for 53 km (33 miles) from Fort Erie to Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The Niagara Parkway is the perfect setting for sightseeing, picnicking and going for a leisurely bike ride.
Niagara Falls to Queenston Heights and Back
This is a very relaxing ride with a lot of great sights to explore along the way. This route is full of natural beauty and rich history. There are also some excellent hiking opportunities at the Niagara Glen Nature Area (be advised the trails can be dangerous so please ensure you have proper hiking shoes with you).
